Selecting a game will allow you to install it remotely - saving you the hassle and time. Also, make sure you are signed into the Microsoft Store app with the same Xbox Live account. Make sure you're signed in to your PC with the same Microsoft account as your Xbox Live account. If your PC is off, the game will not be added to the download queue until the next time you install another game. If your PC is in sleep mode or offline, a game will not download, instead, it will be added to the download queue and will begin once the PC is next woken up or connected to the internet. Go to System > Settings > General > Updates & Downloads
Press the Xbox button to open the Guide menu. Select Power mode and change the setting to Instant-on. Go to System > Settings > General > Power mode & startup. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the Guide menu. You'll also need to enable remote install as this disabled by default. To install games remotely on your Xbox One console you will need to change your power settings so it's in standby mode.
